3.2.4 Schedule

The schedule tab is used for creating schedules, assigning agents and confirming their schedules. You can also link workflows to schedules to enable them for automatic execution. Resource-based schedules can also be created.

The schedule tab consists of the following three functions: “Calendar management functions”, “Work item management functions” and “Resource-specific scheduling functions”.
These three functions are used to manage a number of operations, including the creation, confirmation and updating of schedules, primarily via the “Calendar”, “Work item” and “Schedule” elements.
The relationships between each of these functions and elements are shown below.

Item Description
Calendar Grouped work items for IT operations that can be assigned to user groups.
Create, confirm and update calendars using the "Calendar management function".
Work item One of the elements that comprises a calendar. Represents a single IT operation work task.
Work items can be managed by grouping folders and work tasks.
Add, confirm and update work items using the "Work item management function".
Schedule Represents one work task. It also shows work-related data such as the execution date/time or information such as which groups or users have been assigned.
Schedules are created automatically when a work item is added. Use the "Work item management function" to perform confirmations and updates.

Components Description
① Selection buttons Use the button to switch the window displayed in the schedule display area.
  • Left button: Work item management function
  • Middle button: Resource-specific scheduling function
  • Right button: Calendar management function
② Schedule display area Displays the contents of the schedule selected with the "Selection" buttons ①.
