4.6.2 Uploading YAML files

(1) Create the registration destination.

Before registering a YAML file, create a registration destination repository in any group. For details on creating a repository, see “Repository management”.

(2) Upload the YAML file.

There are two ways to upload YAML files: by registering them through GitLab or by using Git commands. For information on registration through GitLab, see “Register YAML files with GitLab (GUI)”. For information on registration using Git commands, see “Register YAML files with GitLab (CUI)”.
If any Include target is specified in the YAML file to be registered, register the YAML file to be included first. When registering the Include source and target files at the same time, there is no need to be aware of the order of registration.
