8.1.3 Edit statistics

This section describes the editing of statistics.
Statistics can only be edited for user-created statistics definitions. Do not edit the statistics definitions provided by default. For statistics provided by default, see “(Table) List of supported statistics definitions provided by default”.
Statistics can be edited by performing the following steps.

1. Select [Reports] - [Statistics] from the main menu to open the [Statistics Management] screen.
2. From the list of statistics, click [STAT#] of the row to be edited to move to the [Edit Statistics] screen.
3. Click [General Specification] to edit the information in the edit window.
For more information on input fields, see "(Table) General specification input fields for creating statistics".
4. From the [Edit Statistics] screen, click [Statistics Preview] to set the information to be output in the statistics. There are three items, [X-axis], [Y-axis], and [Filter], which have different meanings depending on the type of statistics.
Details of the setting items are as follows.

(Table) Statistics Preview setting items

Item Dynamic Matrix Dynamic List
X-axis Specifies the attribute used to distribute the calculated value to each column Select the attributes to be displayed in the columns.
Y-axis Specifies the attribute used to distribute the calculated value to each row
Specify a maximum of two attributes. If two attributes are specified, rows are created for the combination of the two attributes and values are assigned to each row.
Example: If the first attribute is priority (5 types) and the second attribute is customer ID (10 customers), 50 rows are created.
Specify the attributes to determine the order of each row and the direction of sorting.
Filter Specify the criteria for selecting items for aggregation. Specify the criteria for selecting items to be displayed in the list.
*Items with the checkbox [Do not allow changes to this element when the statistic is generated.] selected will be fixed at the value they were set to when the statistics were run. Items whose checkbox are not selected can be changed at runtime within the range of values specified at the time of setting when the statistics are run.

NoteNote

the following for X-axis, Y-axis, and filter settings.

  • The "Order by" and "Sort sequence" attributes of the Y-axis of the [Dynamic List] statistic should be set as follows, according to the selection status of [Do not allow changes to this element when the statistic is generated.].
    • Selected: Set only one value. (Multiple values cannot be set)
    • Not selected: Set one or more values. (Multiple values can be set)
If multiple values are set and saved with the checkbox selected, an error will appear on the preview screen.
  • If an attribute specifying a date and time is specified, statistics cannot be saved in the Japanese display. To save statistics using such attributes, edit and save the statistics with the language set to English. To change the display language, use the Ops I icon that switches the language. For details, see "Functions > Basic window structure" in "JP1 Cloud Service/Operations Integration User's Guide".
