7.4.2 Create fields
The CMDB function uses dynamic fields as configuration item class fields. The function can use various types of fields including text, date, and dropdown.
The following describes how to create fields.
[Creating catalog classes for selection fields]
1. Select [Admin] from the main menu, then click [Processes & Automation] - [Dynamic Fields]. The [Dynamic Fields Management] screen will appear.
2. Click the [Actions] - [ITSM ConfigItem] field on the left, then select the type of dynamic field you want to add.
3. On the add dynamic field screen, enter the settings for the field, then click [Save] to save the dynamic field.
Configuration items for ITSM ConfigItem dynamic fields are the same as those for ticket dynamic fields. For details, see the OTOBO manual.
