1.2.1 Log in/log out

OTOBO can be accessed from Ops I by clicking the ITSM application.
Clicking the ITSM application in Ops I provides single sign-on access to the OTOBO dashboard screen. If the OTOBO login screen appears when you access the site, refresh your browser.

Do not use [Avatar icon] - [Logout], because the login status to the Ops I system screens is managed by Ops I as a whole.
If you want to log out of Ops I, use the Ops I logout. For details on logging out of Ops I, see “Functions > Basic window structure” in “JP1 Cloud Service/Operations Integration User’s Guide”.

A user to whom one of the roles shown in the “Ops I Primitive Roles” column in the table that follows is applied is called an “Agent”. The ITSM application is displayed and available for use when the user is the “Agent”.
There are four roles for the “Agent” depending on the Ops I Primitive role that is applied. Apply the appropriate role for each user according to their work in OTOBO.

(Table) Primitive roles of Ops I by Agent

Agent Description Primitive roles in Ops I
OTOBO Administrator Manages the systems related to OTOBO itsm_admin
OTOBO Operation Manager Manages whether the system is properly operated by checking the status of the system, etc. itsm_manager
OTOBO Operation Agent Performs tasks such as registration, changes, deletion, etc. itsm_user
OTOBO Viewer Browses and searches tickets, etc. itsm_viewer
Users with the following characteristics are also referred to as "Customer Users".
  • The user belongs to “Customer” (groups of users organized by the organization, company, etc., to which they belong).
  • Assigned the Pre-Installed role “Customer User” or “Customer Manager” in Ops I

Customer users cannot view the ITSM application and cannot access OTOBO. Therefore, ticket operations and other actions are performed from the Ops I GUI.

For details on Ops I roles, see “OPS I Roles > Correspondence between roles and support functions in Ops I” in “JP1 Cloud Service/Operations Integration User’s Guide”. For details on Ops I Customer Users, see “Functions > System > User management” in “JP1 Cloud Service/Operations Integration User’s Guide”.
