7.1.1 [History] (version management)

The “History” function allows you to view the history of configuration items.
Whenever you change information on a configuration item, the system automatically records the changes in its history.
In this process, the version number of the configuration item is incremented so that changes to the configuration item can be quickly tracked.
To view the history, click on [History] on the Detailed Information screen of the configuration item. This opens a list of the history of changes to the corresponding configuration item.
You can also see information about the configuration item as of any version.

Note Note

OTOBO administrators who have been granted the Primitive role "itsm_admin" in Ops I can prevent the version number from changing when editing certain fields by defining the configuration item class. For details, see "Class management"
