3.3 Setting up the operating environment of Remote Control Manager

Before starting to use the remote control facility, you need to set up the operating environment. This includes elements such as the connection method to the agent, remote control mode, and data transmission method from the agent.

To set up the operating environment of Remote Control Manager, use the Properties dialog box. To open the Properties dialog box, choose Tools and then Properties in the Remote Control window.

The table below lists the setup items for each page of the Properties dialog box.

After setting each page, click the Save button to save the specified values as the new default values. If you click the Update button, the settings take effect only while Remote Control Manager is running.
