customized transfer
A method used to transfer files to or from multiple agents at one time. The transfer destination folder may be the default folder or the same folder as the transfer source folder.
Exclusive
A remote control mode. In this mode, an agent can be operated only by the local machine and rejects control from any controller or agent to which the agent is connected. Other machines that are connected are all in view mode.
export
To write the settings required to issue connection requests from an agent to controllers. The settings are written from the agent to a settings file, using the Requester Wizard.
file transfer list window
A window that lists the transfer files. The window is displayed when you open an agent file from the File Transfer window. From this window, you can return files to agents or remove files left in the controller.
File Transfer window
A window that displays, in a tree view, the controllers and file information of agents connected to the controller. The window is started from the Remote Control window. From this window, you can transfer files by simple operations such as drag-and-drop. You can also create a folder or remove and delete files.
found agent
One of the agents that are included in the list obtained by a search performed in the Agent Manager window. A found agent is temporarily displayed under the Network icon. When a found agent is moved to another folder, the found agent becomes an ordinary agent that can be renamed and/or reconfigured.

A controller that has given an agent permission to perform remote operations.
Process page
A page that appears when the Process tab is selected in the Remote Control Process Viewer window. This page displays information on the currently running processes.
recording file
A file that contains screen information records storing the operations performed on the connected agent and the actions taken by the user attending the agent.
remote control
A facility used to call the screen of a remote PC (agent) into the local PC (controller) via a telephone line or LAN, so as to operate the remote PC as if it were a local machine.
Remote Control Agent
The program that runs on a machine subject to remote control operations. It executes operation instructions received from the controller on the screen of the local PC.
Remote Control Manager
The program that runs on a machine which issues the remote control operation instructions.
remote control mode
The mode representing the level of permission a machine has in operating the agent. There are 3 modes; view, shared and exclusive. Both the controller and agent sides can set their own remote control modes. The mode used in actual remote control operations will be determined when the controller and agent establish a connection.

Security PC
A PC with an OS installed in read-only compact flash memory instead of a hard disk. A security PC can connect to an agent to remotely control application software and files. Since the security PC does not have external storage such as a hard disk or a floppy disk, it provides protection against information leakage resulting from lost or stolen media.
Shared
A remote control mode. In this mode, an agent can be operated from a controller or agent that is connected to the agent and shares resources with the agent.
View
A remote control mode. In this mode, the controller can view agent screens, but cannot operate on the agent.
