You can use the Record page to configure settings for agent screen information recording. The Record page is shown below.

(1) File

Specify the name of the file that will contain recorded information on the agent screen and where to store the file. If you specify a recording file in advance, you do not need to specify the recording file name when starting the recording of the window information in the Remote Control window. By default, a recording file is not specified (it is blank).

If you specify a file name, the recording file is overwritten at each recording. However, if you need a different recording file for each recording, you can set the file name so that a variable is automatically appended to the name. You can set a file name with a variable from the Select Recording File dialog box that is displayed by clicking the Browse button

From the Save as type list, select a template for the file name. You can select from the following three types.

If you select a template, the file name with the variable is displayed in the File name box.

You can also combine custom variables and directly specify the recording file name in the File name box. For details on using variables to specify the recording file name, see 4.5.2(4)(a) Setting up a recording file.

(2) Start recording when connected

Select this check box if you want to start recording when you connect to the agent. By default, this check box is cleared.

(3) Show the status icon

Select this check box to display the icon that indicates the recording status of the agent window information (status icon). The icon is displayed in the status bar. By default, this check box is cleared.
