(1) Data transmission

You can set up data compression and data encryption. This option can be specified in the Transfer Options dialog box of the File Transfer window. If the connection destination has different values set in this option, the most recently saved setting will take effect. By default, the Compress the data to transfer option is selected.

Compress the data to transfer
Select this check box to compress transmission data. This check box is selected by default. Compressing transmission data will reduce the amount of time required for file transfer and reduce the amount of transmission data approximately by half. For details on the transmission data compression ratio, see 4.3.9(2) Transfer page.

Encrypt the data to transfer
Select this check box to encrypt transmission data.

(2) Agent's default folder

You can specify the default folder on the agent for storing files transferred without a specific destination. This folder will store files which are dragged and dropped from the Explorer to the Remote Control window. If you specify a nonexistent folder name, the system will create a new folder at the time of file transmission.

If you do not specify a default folder, drag and drop file transmission will be disabled.

By default, no folder is specified.

(3) File Transfer window

Show the File Transfer window
Select this check box to show the File Transfer window when transferring files by drag and drop. If you specify not to show the File Transfer window, dropping the file(s) will immediately trigger transmission, and send the file(s) to the agent's default folder defined in (2) above.
If you use a menu command or button to transfer file(s), the File Transfer window will always appear, regardless of your settings here.
