This section describes the procedures for linking to HP NNM Version 7.5 or earlier and registering node information in the asset management database and displaying device maps. For details about the required programs, see 4.2.2 System configuration linked to HP NNM Version 7.5 or earlier.

1. Required settings to link to HP NNM Version 7.5 or earlier
   During setup, specify the following settings in the Server Setup dialog box:
   Settings to display the Network Presenter
   
   • Set so that the NNM button is displayed
   • Open map name and Name of connection destination server settings used to connect to the Network Presenter of HP NNM Version 7.5 or earlier

2. Task settings
   These are the settings required to collect node information.
   From the asset management server, enable the Take node information task registered in Windows Task Scheduler.
