JP1 Version 12 JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Operator's Guide

16.3 List screen

In the List screen, you can perform tasks such as monitoring units, setting hold attributes, and registering units for execution. Clicking the Dashboard tab displays the Dashboard screen.

You can also open the List screen from the Integrated Operation Viewer window of JP1/IM2.

The following figure shows the List screen.

[Figure]

If automatic refresh is enabled, the List screen is refreshed every 10 minutes, starting from the time that automatic refresh is enabled. The automatic refresh interval can be changed in the Setting dialog box.

The List screen consists of two main areas:

Tree area

This area displays the units the logged-in JP1 user has permission to reference in tree format. When you select a job group in the tree area, the units under the selected job group appear in the list area.

List area

This area displays the units under the job group selected in the tree area.

Cautionary notes
  • The List screen can be opened from JP1/IM2 only if the relevant unit or generation exists.

  • If the full name of the target unit contains many multibyte characters, Internet Explorer might not be able to open the List screen from JP1/IM2 because the length of the URL might exceed the browser's upper limit. If Internet Explorer cannot open the List screen, try using Firefox or Google Chrome. If you want to use Firefox or Google Chrome, you will need to set Firefox or Google Chrome as the default browser.

  • If, for a certain length of time, no operations are performed in the List screen and the List screen is not refreshed, the session times out. If the session times out, an error message appears, and the web browser closes. The session timeout period for the Web GUI can be specified by using the environment setting file (ajs3web.conf). The default is 15 minutes. For details about the environment settings file (ajs3web.conf) in Windows, see 3.4.3 Details on the settings in the environment-settings file (ajs3web.conf) in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide. For details about the environment settings file (ajs3web.conf) in Linux, see 13.3.3 Details on settings in the environment-settings file (ajs3web.conf) in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide.

  • In Firefox or Google Chrome, the following operations or events that usually cause the web browser to close, instead cause the Login screen being displayed:

    - Clicking the Log Out button or the Close button on the Monitor screen.

    - An error that usually causes the web browser to close (such as an invalid session error).

  • The Login screen might not be displayed if an error occurs during the startup of the List screen. If the Login screen is not displayed, manually close the web browser.
