16.26 Setting dialog box

With the Setting dialog box, you can specify several settings, such as: the initial screen to be displayed after login, the behavior of the Web GUI when used for a long time, the items to be displayed in each area, and the refresh interval of each screen.

The following figure shows the Setting dialog box.

Initial display screen

You can select the Dashboard screen, the List screen, or the Execution Agent screen as the initial screen that appears when you log in.

Operation when used for a long time#

You can set the behavior of the Web GUI when it is used for a long time.

  • Interval or times to display a web page reload confirmation message while the Web GUI is used for a long time

  • Whether to reload the Dashboard screen without displaying a confirmation message when the screen is displayed

Displayed Item

Dashboard

You can set the monitoring items to be displayed in the Dashboard screen and the order in which they are displayed.

Also, you can set how the dates on which to perform monitoring are updated when the base time is exceeded while the Dashboard screen is displayed.

Dashboard - Status of Root Jobnet

You can set the following items for the Dashboard screen:

  • Whether to collapse or expand the initial display of the Status of Root Jobnet area

  • The items to be displayed in the Status of Root Jobnet area when it is collapsed

Dashboard - Detail Information

You can set the following items for the Dashboard screen:

  • Whether to collapse or expand the initial display of the Detail Information area

  • Whether the List tab or the Chart tab is to be displayed initially

  • Whether the units in the Chart tab are to be listed in order of the start time, the unit name, or the full path name of the unit

Dashboard - Detail Information - Root Jobnets

You can set the monitoring items to be displayed when information about only root jobnets is displayed in the List tab of the Dashboard screen.

Dashboard - Detail Information - All Units

You can set the monitoring items to be displayed when information about all units, including root jobnets, is displayed in the List tab of the Dashboard screen.

List

You can set the monitored items to be displayed in the List screen and the order in which they are displayed.

Monthly Schedule

You can set the following items for the Monthly Schedule screen:

  • Whether the units in the Tree area are to be listed in order of start time or in order of unit name

  • Whether to perform execution simulation for the execution schedules displayed in the schedule area

  • Whether the start date displayed in the schedule area is set to the base date or to a relative date (specified by a number of days from the current day)

  • The monitoring items to be displayed in the List area and the order in which they are displayed

Window updating

Auto refresh - Refresh interval

You can set the automatic refresh interval for the following screens:

  • Dashboard screen

  • List screen

  • Monitor dialog box and Monitor screen

With the Setting dialog box, you can specify the settings that are convenient for long-time use. By specifying these settings, the Dashboard screen can be reloaded without displaying a confirmation message. To maintain the same layout before and after reloading the window, specify the following settings:

  • In the Setting dialog box, specify Dashboard for Initial display screen.

  • In the Setting dialog box, under the settings that determine whether the areas displayed in the Dashboard screen are collapsed or expanded initially, specify the states in which the screen is used for long-time monitoring.

  • For a web browser in which to display Web Console, hide the scroll bars or reset their sliders to the initial positions.

  • In the Setting dialog box, select Dashboard > Operation to update the Day for Monitor when the Base time is exceeded > Update without displaying message.
