The following figure shows the Monitor dialog box.

[Figure]

The Monitor dialog box consists of two main areas:

Tree area

Defined jobnets are displayed in a tree. If you select a jobnet in the tree area, the map area displays the units under the selected jobnet.

Map area

Units under the jobnet selected in the tree area are displayed. In the tool tip of the icon for a unit, you can check the unit name and the comment defined for the unit.

If automatic refresh is enabled, the Monitor dialog box is refreshed every 5 minutes, starting from the time that automatic refresh is enabled. The automatic refresh interval can be changed in the Setting dialog box.

You can manipulate a unit by selecting it and clicking the buttons at the top of the dialog box. The following table describes the operations that can be performed by using these buttons.

If the operation restriction function of the Web GUI is enabled, these buttons appear only if the logged-in user is a user who is permitted to perform the corresponding operations.

You can switch the information shown under the icon for each unit displayed in the map area between the unit name and the comments defined for the unit. Clicking the Unit name button at the top of the map area displays unit names. Clicking the Comment button at the top of the map area displays the comments defined for the units. If no comment is defined for a unit, nothing is displayed under the icon for the unit.

You can copy the URL of the Monitor screen for a specific unit. To do this, select the unit in the Monitor dialog box, and then click the URL Copy button at the bottom of the dialog box. For details about the Monitor screen, see 16.7 Monitor screen. Note that to use the obtained URL to open the Monitor screen, you must perform authentication by using the JP1/AJS3 - Web Console login screen.

The function that copies the URL of the Monitor screen is useful when you want to inform other users by email of the URL of the Monitor screen for a monitored unit.

Cautionary note

If a full unit name contains many multibyte characters, the URL you obtain might be very long. Note that Internet Explorer might not be able to open the Monitor screen if the URL is too long. If Internet Explorer cannot open the Monitor screen, try using Firefox or Google Chrome.
