6.5.4 Checking the access permission groups or JP1 resource groups that are set in Operational Content

You can check the access permission groups or JP1 resource groups that are set in a piece of Operational Content. Note that you cannot check the access permission groups or JP1 resource groups that are set in multiple pieces of Operational Content at one time. After performing the check, redefine the access permission groups or JP1 resource groups, if necessary. For details about how to redefine the access permission group or JP1 resource group, see 2.4.1 Setting an access permission group or JP1 resource group for Operational Content.

Organization of this subsection

(1) Checking the access permission groups

  1. In the menu area of the Operational Content Editing Window, select the check box of only one piece of Operational Content, and then select the Edit Permissions menu.

The Edit Permissions window appears. The access permission groups whose check boxes are selected in the Access permission groups that are set for the Operational Content list are currently set in the selected piece of Operational Content.

  2. Click the name of an access permission group.

The Check Access Permission Groups window appears.

  3. Check whether the ID of the user or group to which the Operational Content is published is displayed in the ID column.

If you are not sure of the user ID, ask the system administrator about it.

  4. Click the Close button to close the Check Access Permission Groups window and display the Edit Permissions window again.

  5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 for all access permission groups that are displayed in the Access permission groups that are set for the Operational Content list.

  6. If the result of step 3 is true, in the Access permission groups that are set for the Operational Content list of the Edit Permissions window, select the check box of the access permission group in step 2.

  7. If the result of step 3 is not true, ask the system administrator to redefine the access permission group.

(2) Checking the JP1 resource groups

  1. In the menu area of the Operational Content Editing Window, select the check box of only one piece of Operational Content, and then select the Resource Settings menu.

    The Resource Settings window appears.

The JP1 resource groups whose check boxes are selected are currently set in the selected piece of Operational Content. If no check boxes are displayed, the JP1 resource groups displayed in the list of JP1 resource groups are currently set in the selected piece of Operational Content.

  2. Ask the system administrator whether the publishing-target users for the Operational Content are registered in the displayed JP1 resource groups.

  3. In answer to the query in step 2, if such users are registered, in the JP1 resource groups registered for the Operational Content list of the Resource Settings window, select the check boxes of those JP1 resource groups.

  4. In answer to the query in step 2, if such users are not registered, ask the system administrator to redefine the JP1 resource groups.
