6.3.2 Access permission types and permitted operations (when using JP1/Base for user authentication)
When JP1/Base is used for user authentication, the actual operations permitted for users depend on the combination of the JP1 resource group and the JP1 permission level. If the same JP1 permission level is set but the JP1 resource groups are different, the permitted operations might be different.
For example, the operations permitted for a user whose JP1 permission level is a Content Editor depend on the JP1 resource group to which this user belongs, as follows:
-
JP1 resource group for the entire system
The user can edit and reference all Operational Contents in the system.
-
JP1 resource group for each Operational Content
The user can edit and reference only those Operational Contents for which the corresponding JP1 resource group has been set.
For details about the operations that depend on the combination of JP1 resource group and JP1 permission level, see 4.3.3 Combinations of JP1 resource groups and JP1 permission levels.
