JP1 Version 12 JP1/Navigation Platform Setup and Operations Guide

4.3.3 Combinations of JP1 resource groups and JP1 permission levels

The operations a user can execute in Navigation platform depend on the combination of the JP1 resource group and JP1 permission level.

Tip

You can set multiple JP1 resource groups for the same user. This includes both the system-wide JP1 resource group and JP1 resource groups specific to individual Operational Contents.

When a JP1 permission level is set for a JP1 resource group named * in Navigation Platform, the setting is assumed to apply to a system-wide JP1 resource group.

The subsections below indicate the operations that can be executed by different users, and the combinations of JP1 resource group and JP1 permission level that are set for those users.
