5.2.2 Checking the connection status

You can use the Remote Control Agent icon or Status window, shown at the Remote Control Agent startup to ascertain the following information:

The following explains how to check the connection status from the Remote Control Agent icon and the Status window.

(1) When the Remote Control Agent icon is shown

The Remote Control Agent icon changes color to represents the connection status with the controller.

[Figure] (Gray): Unconnected

[Figure] (Red): Connected in view mode

[Figure] (Yellow): Connected in shared mode

[Figure] (Blue): Connected in exclusive mode

You can also check the connection mode by left-clicking the Remote Control Agent icon and, from the displayed menu, verifying which of the View, Shared, or Exclusive items has the check mark.

Additionally, if you place the pointer on the Remote Control Agent icon, the number of connected controller units pops up.

(2) When the Status window is shown

The color of the Status window title bar changes to represent the connection status with the controller. The meaning of each color is the same as those described in (1) When the Remote Control Agent icon is shown. The title bar also shows the connection status, mode, and the number of connected controller units.

You can also check the connection mode by right-clicking anywhere in the status window and, from the bottom of the displayed menu, verify which of the View, Shared, or Exclusive items has the check mark.

The number in brackets on the title bar is the number of controllers in the connection destination.
