4.3.7 Confirming file information

If you wish to know detailed information concerning a specific file, or the total size of registered files, open the File Confirmation dialog box, to check file information.

The following explains how to display the File Confirmation dialog box.

To check the information of a selected file:
Select a file or folder. From the Edit menu, choose Confirm Files and then Selected File.

To check the information about a registered file:
From the Edit menu, choose Confirm Files and then File List. (The File List command is enabled when a file is registered.)

The File Confirmation dialog box allows you to check information such as the location, name, size, modified date, and attributes of each file or folder, as well as the number of selected files and their total size. You can also register the selected files or change the registration type. The following is the File Confirmation dialog box.

Run
Displays the current transfer type.
  • Select
    The selected file. The file is not registered.
  • Copy
    The file registered for copying.
  • Move
    The file registered for moving.
If you are checking the information of the selected file, change the file from Select to Copy or Move to register the file as a copy or move the file.
If you are viewing a registered file, you can change the registration type (Copy/Move).

Host
Displays the host where the folder or file you are currently viewing is located. For the controller, Local is displayed. For an agent, the host name or IP address is displayed.

Location
Displays the top-level folder name of the currently folder or file you are currently viewing.

Name, Size, Modified, Attributes
Displays the information (name, size, last modified date, and attributes) of the file currently selected in the File Transfer window or the file registered for copying or moving.

Number of files
Displays the total number of selected files. If a folder is selected, the number of files in the folder is also calculated.

Size
Displays the total byte size of the currently folder or file you are currently viewing.

Delete
If you select a registered file from the list and click this button, the registration is canceled.

Click the OK button to exit the file confirmation. If files are removed from the registration with the Delete button, the changes are applied when clicking the OK button. If you click the Cancel button, the changes of the Delete button are not applied.

If you change Run, the changes are applied at the time you change the setting. Therefore, clicking the OK button or clicking the Cancel button will not affect the results.
