4.3.5 Displaying the transmission status and canceling the process

When file transmission starts, the Progress of File Transfer dialog box appears on both the controller and agent(s). (The dialog box is minimized on the agent.)

[Figure]

To cancel the file transmission, in the Progress of File Transfer dialog box, click Cancel. The Cancel button can be clicked from either the controller or the agent(s). If the controller cancels file transmission, a dialog box appears, asking whether transmission should be canceled. If the agent cancels transmission, the process is canceled immediately.

If you cancel file transmission, the files that have already been transferred will remain at the transmission destination. When you are moving files, rather than copying them, the transferred files are deleted from the transmission source.

In file transmission within the same agent, or between two agents, files are transferred via a work folder on the controller. Therefore, the Progress of File Transfer dialog box appears twice, once in the transmission from the agent to the work folder, and once in the transmission from the work folder to the destination agent.
