11.7.1 Configuration of the Local System Viewer window

In the Local System Viewer window, you can switch among four pages by selecting tabs at the bottom of the window. The following sections explain the items displayed on each page:

System Conditions
Graphically displays hard disk and memory usage conditions. When the amount of free space falls below a certain level, a warning symbol appears next to the item name. For details about this page, see 11.7.2 Checking the hardware status of a client.

Alert History
Displays a list of reported alerts. For details about this page, see 11.7.3 Checking the list of alerts reported.

System Information
Displays information about the client's hardware (for example, computer name, OS, and CPU type). For details about this page, see 11.7.4 Checking the system information of a client.

Installed Software
Displays information about the software installed in the client. For details about this page, see 11.7.5 Checking the software information of a client.

To display information on the System Conditions or Alert History page, the system monitoring (a facility that monitors hardware and issues an alert when an error occurs) must be in use. For details about the system monitoring, see 11.8 Reporting an alert based on system monitoring.
