5.3.1 Performing operations

The following describes how to perform each type of operation using the information listed.

(1) Rerun, Execute Immediately, Change Time, Change Delay Monitor, and Change Job Status

To perform rerun or execute immediately operations:

  1. Select the Select check boxes for the data for which operation is to be performed, as displayed in the statuses frame.
  2. Click the applicable Operation button for the operation that you would like to perform:
    • Rerun
    • Execute Immediately
    • Change Time
    • Change Delay Monitor
    • Change Job Status
    The operation confirmation frame appears.
  3. Check that the selected operation target data is correct.
  4. Specify any operation options.
  5. Click the Run button.
    The operation results frame appears. The status confirmation frame also appears if it has been set to be displayed in the user environment settings.
  6. Check the results.
  7. Click the Return to Status View button or the Display Selected on Status View button.
    You return to the Monitor window.

Supplementary notes
  • You can check the result of the change time operation by clicking Change plan in the status list. Since this item is not displayed by default, we recommend that you specify that this item be displayed in the frame for setting the items to be displayed in the status list.
  • You can check the result of the change delay monitor operation by using Delayed start and Delayed end in the status list. Since these items are not displayed by default, we recommend that you specify that these items be displayed in the frame for setting the items to be displayed in the status list..

(2) Hold, Release Hold, Execution Prohibited, Kill, Release Change, and Interrupt

To perform hold, release hold, execution prohibited, or kill operations:

  1. Select the Select check boxes for the data for which operation is to be performed, as displayed in the statuses frame.
  2. Click the Operation button for one of the following operations that you would like to perform:
    • Hold
    • Release Hold
    • Execution Prohibited
    • Kill
    • Release Change
    • Interrupt
    The operation confirmation frame appears.
  3. Check that the selected operation target data is correct.
  4. Click the Run button.
    The operation results frame appears. The status confirmation frame also appears if it has been set to be displayed in the user environment settings.
  5. Check the results.
  6. Click the Return to Status View button or the Display Selected on Status View button.
    You return to the Monitor window.

(3) Starting JP1/AJS3 - View or JP1/AJS2 - View

To start JP1/AJS3 - View or JP1/AJS2 - View, click the hyperlinked unit name in the list view.

Note
You can acquire the list view by specifying localhost as the host name from a Web browser on a host where JP1/AJS3 - Web Operation Assistant is not installed. If you click a hyperlinked unit name in this list view to start JP1/AJS3 - View or JP1/AJS2 - View, the host on which the Web browser is running is accessed. When you start JP1/AJS3 - View or JP1/AJS2 - View, do not specify localhost as a host name to be monitored.
