6.2 Automatic maintenance of destination group
JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 can automatically detect hosts that are new or have moved, and assign them to the appropriate host groups based on predefined grouping conditions (called a policy). This is called automatic maintenance of destination group Automatic maintenance applies to every computer in the system configuration information regardless of the value specified for Mode in the device information.
This section describes how to set a policy for a host group, and how to apply policies to host groups as a batch. It also provides examples of operating a system in which policies are assigned to host groups.
