5.3 Creating ID groups
Like host groups, you can create ID groups in the Destination window of Remote Install Manager. Although ID groups are created on a managing server, the created ID groups are reported to and managed by a relay system or management relay server responsible for managing the ID group (called the ID-management relay computer). This ID-management relay computer also manages the registration status of users in the ID group.
This section provides an overview of the use of ID groups. It then describes in detail how to create ID groups and register managed computers in those groups.
