5.2.6 Example of host group creation

The following shows an example of creating system configuration information and host groups.

• Structure of system configuration information and host groups

  For a system with the configuration below, JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 creates the system configuration information automatically. The host groups are created by editing the system configuration information file.

• System configuration information file

  The figure below shows the result of outputting the automatically created system configuration information to a file.

• Host group file

  The figure below shows the host group file created by editing the system configuration information file. To output the system configuration information from the System Configuration window, open the File menu and select Save to File.
