D. List of System Resources for Which Kernel Parameters Need to Be Adjusted
When you use Performance Management in a UNIX environment, you need to adjust the kernel parameters of the OS to allocate the resources required for executing Performance Management. This section describes the kernel parameters requiring adjustment in PFM - Manager, PFM - Base, and PFM - Web Console for each OS.
Additionally, the kernel parameters should be adjusted for some PFM - Agents and PFM - RMs. For details on adjusting the kernel parameters for each PFM - Agent or PFM - RM, see the description of the list of kernel parameters in an appendix of each PFM - Agent or PFM - RM manual.
