4.3.3 Displaying Item histories

JP1/Service Support keeps a record of the work history associated with Items. You can display this information in the History display window. The following users can perform the operations described in this section:

If the option to set view permissions for individual Items is enabled for the target process work board, the user can only work with Items for which he or she is an Item view permissions owner.

Organization of this subsection

(1) Displaying the History display window

To display the History display window:

  1. In the list of Items in the main window (Item list), select the Item whose history you want to display.

  2. From the menu in the main window (Item list), select Action and then History display.

    The History display window appears.

The following figure shows the History display window.

There are four other ways to display the History display window:

  • In the list of Items in the main window (Item list), or the list of target Items in the main window (Item status), or the List of items in a search results window, right-click the title of the Item whose history you want to display. From the right-click menu, select History display.

  • From the menu in the View Item window, select Action and then History display.

  • In the Work status display window, select Action and then History display from the menu, or click the history display icon.

  • From the menu in the Show progress window, select Action and then History display.

Items are listed in the History display window in descending order of their update date and time. You can sort the list by a particular column by clicking the column header. When you use a column as the sort key, an icon appears in the column header indicating whether the column is sorted in ascending order (▲) or descending order (▼).

(2) Information displayed from anchor text

You can display additional information by clicking the following anchor text in the History display window:

Title

When you click the title of an Item, the View Item window for the Item appears.

Person in charge

When you click the name of the user or role that is responsible for the Item, the User details or Role details window for the user or role appears.

Editor

When you click the user name of the user who edited the Item, the User details window for the user appears.

(3) Operations in the History display window

The following describes the operations you can perform in the History display window.

(a) Menus

Close

Closes the History display window.

(b) Context menu

A context menu appears when you right-click certain elements in the History display window. The following table lists the commands in the context menu displayed in the History display window.

If the person in charge is a user, this command displays the List of roles window showing a list of roles to which the user belongs.

List of members

If the person in charge is a role, this command displays the List of members window for the role.

Editor

Details

Displays the User details window for the user who edited the Item.

List of roles

Displays the List of roles window for the role to which the user belongs.
