4.3.2 Displaying detailed Item information
You can view detailed Item information in the View Item window. The following users can perform the operations described in this section:

Process work board managers

Users with view permission for Items in the process work board#

Users who belong to the process work board management role

If the option to set view permissions for individual Items is enabled for the target process work board, the user can only work with Items for which he or she is an Item view permissions owner.

(1) Displaying the View Item window
To display the View Item window:

In the list of Items in the main window (Item list), select the Item you want to view.

From the menu in the main window (Item list), select Action and then View item.
The View Item window appears.
The following figure shows the View Item window.

There are seven other ways to display the View Item window:

In the list of Items in the main window (Item list), double-click the title of the Item you want to view, or right-click the title and click View item.

In the list of target Items in the main window (Item status), double-click the title of the Item you want to view, or right-click the title and click View item.

In the History display window, click the title of the Item you want to view.

In the Show progress window, select Action and then View item from the menu.

Click the Item ID of a related Item in the New item window, Edit item window, or View Item window.

Click the title of an Item in the List of item search results window.

In the Work status display window, select Action and then View item from the menu, or click the view icon for the Item.

(2) Information displayed from anchor text
You can display additional information by clicking the following anchor text in the View Item window:
- Registrant

When you click the name of the user who registered the Item, the User details window for the user appears.
- Person in charge

When you click the name of the user or role that is responsible for the Item, the User details or Role details window for the user or role appears.
- Related item(s)

When you click the Item ID of a related Item, the View Item window for the related Item appears.
- Related information

When you click the name of a piece of related information, the related information is displayed in a Web browser. If there is no URL assigned to the related information, the name of the related information is not clickable.
- Hardware information

When linking with JP1/AIM, clicking the hardware information anchor displays the JP1/AIM Device Details dialog box.
When linking with JP1/UCMDB, clicking the hardware information anchor displays the JP1/UCMDB Device Details dialog box.
When linking with JP1/ITDM2 - Asset Console, clicking the hardware information anchor displays the JP1/ITDM2 - Asset Console Device Details dialog box.
- Attached file(s)

By clicking the name of an attached file, you can display the Download the attached file window and download the file.
If you use a customized Item form, the following clickable elements might appear in the View Item window:
- Answerer

When you click the name of the user who is responsible for answering the inquiry, the User details window for that user appears.
- User-added elements

When you click the user name associated with a user-added element, the User details window for that user appears.
(3) Operations in the View Item window
The following describes the operations you can perform in the View Item window.
(a) Menus

- Edit item

Edits an Item. This command displays the Edit item window. This command is unavailable if the selected Item is a stored Item.
- Cancel edit

Cancels editing of an Item. This command is unavailable if the selected Item is a stored Item.
- Recall item
-
Recalls an Item. This command displays a dialog box for you to confirm whether you want to recall the Item. If you click OK, the Item is recalled. This command is unavailable if the selected Item is a stored Item. In addition, this command is not shown if the recall item function is disabled in the process work board to which the Item is to be registered.
- Inherit Content to Create an Item

Allows you to create a new Item based on the Item information of an existing Item displayed in the View Item window. This command displays the Specify the registration target window. When you select a process and click OK, a New item window appears containing the Item information of the Item selected in the View Item window. You can then use this information as the basis for a new Item to be created in the process you selected in the initial window.
This command is unavailable if you open the View Item window from the History display window.
- Escalation

Escalates an Item. This command displays the Specify an escalation destination window. This command is unavailable if the selected Item is a stored Item.
- History display

Displays the history of an Item. This command displays the History display window.
- Show progress

Displays the progress of an Item. This command displays the Show progress window.
- Work status display

Displays the work status of an Item. This command displays the Work status display window.
- Display the Print Window

Displays a window in which you can print an Item. This command displays the print item window.
- Display status of related item

Displays related Items. This command displays the Status of related item window.
- Close

Closes the View Item window.
(b) Context menu
A context menu appears when you right-click certain elements in the View Item window. The following table lists the commands in this menu.
