3.6.2 Clearing the cache of Java (When not using the Send and Receive App)

1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel.

   The Control Panel appears.

2. Double-click the Java icon to display the Java Control Panel.

3. In the General tab, under Temporary Internet Files, click the Settings... button. Click the Delete Files... button.

   The Temporary Files Settings dialog box appears.

   

4. Click the Delete Files... button.

   The Delete Temporary Files dialog box appears.

   

5. Select only the Applications and Applets check box. Click the OK button.

   Temporary files are deleted and the Temporary Files Settings dialog box appears.

   

6. Click the OK button.

   

If the same error occurs even after you perform the procedure above, perform the procedure in the next subsection.
