3.1 Troubleshooting

The following table describes problems and corrective actions for them.

The file delivery succeeded, but the delivery notification email did not reach recipients.

The email addresses of the sender or recipients are wrong.

Make sure that the entered email addresses of the sender and recipients are correct.

The warning message Object not found appeared and the processing stopped.

There is a problem in the Java settings on the client PC.

Perform the following procedures to make sure that the settings are correct:

  • To check the version of Java Runtime Environment:

    From the Windows start menu, select Control Panel, Java, and the General tab, and then click the About... button. Check the JRE version.

    For details about the JRE version you can use, see 1.1.2(3) Java software (When not using the Send and Receive App).

  • To check the Java applet proxy settings:

    From the Windows start menu, select Control Panel, Java, and the General tab, and then click the Network Settings... button. In the Network Settings dialog box, select the Use browser settings radio button.

  • To enable the next-generation Java Plug-in:

    From the Windows start menu, select Control Panel, Java, the Advanced tab, Java Plug-in, and the Enable the next-generation Java Plug-in (requires browser restart) check box, and then click the OK button. Then, restart the web browser.

The Download button is not displayed in the Received Items window or the Receiving Item window.
