6.6 Page settings

This section describes how to define page settings for output documents. You can define a maximum of 5 page settings.

The following items can be defined in page settings:

Note that some page settings are ignored by certain models of printer.

To define page settings:

  1. In the Job Operation Document Output window, from the Edit menu, choose Page Settings.

    The Page Settings window appears.

  2. In the Page Settings window, select a paper number.

    The page settings you define are assigned to the paper number you select. You can create a maximum of five sets of page settings.

  3. Select the page settings (such as paper size and orientation) according to your needs.

  4. Click Apply.

The value selected in Adoption applies to all paper numbers. You cannot choose a different setting for different paper numbers. If you select Format definition from the Adoption drop-down list, JP1/AJS3 - Print Option uses the value specified in Paper number in the Format Definition window. If you select Always 1, the system ignores the value specified in Paper number, and uses the page settings for paper number 1.

The paper settings for documents in map and flow format must be defined in Microsoft Excel.
