6.1 Tasks required from creation to use of Operational Contents
The following explains the tasks that the system administrator must perform to use Operational Contents:

Evaluating the handling of Operational Content access permissions
If you will be using a directory server for user authentication, create access permission groups and then add the users who will be creating Operational Contents and the users who will be using the Operational Contents. If you will be using JP1/Base for user authentication, set JP1 permission levels and JP1 resource groups in JP1/Base. Because these tasks are performed in JP1/Base, consult with the JP1/Base administrator to determine appropriate settings.

Exporting and importing Operational Contents (when the editing environment differs from the execution environment)
There might be multiple versions of Operational Contents. The commands to be used depend on whether all versions or only the Published Versions are to be exported and imported.

Applying files created in the development environment to the system

Managing static files that are used in Operational Contents

Updating search data (when the Search tab is displayed)
There are two methods, one that updates search data automatically on a schedule and one used to update search data manually at any time.
To perform these tasks, the Navigation Platform system must be running. For details about how to start the system, see 5.1 Starting and stopping the system.
You can acquire a history of Operational Content operations by the users as logs. For details about operation logs, see 5.4 Handling of operation logs from Operational Contents.
The subsections below explain the procedures for creating and using Operational Contents both when plugins and custom windows developed in the development environment are used and when plugins and custom windows are not used.
