JP1 Version 12 JP1/Navigation Platform Setup and Operations Guide

4.7 Unsetup procedure

This section describes the Navigation Platform unsetup procedure.

  1. Use the npdatabackup command (back up environment) to make a backup.

    Command path

    Navigation-Platform-installation-directory\bin\npdatabackup

Data related to the configuration of the system environment cannot be backed up using the npexport command (export Operational Content). You must use the npdatabackup command (back up environment) for this purpose. For the detailed procedure, see steps 1 to 3 in 5.2.2 Backing up the entire system.

  2. Use the npunsetup command (perform unsetup of Navigation Platform) to perform unsetup.

    Command path

    Navigation-Platform-installation-directory\bin\npunsetup

When prompted to confirm whether to perform unsetup, enter a single-byte Y and press the Enter key.

  3. If you have a task related to Navigation Platform, delete that task.

  4. If necessary, remove static files used in the Operational Contents.

Static files are not deleted by the npunsetup command. If you do not want to leave behind static files after unsetup, you must delete those files manually.

  5. Delete any CA certificate that was imported when LDAPS was used.

For details about the deletion procedure, see "3. Deleting the CA certificate registered in the keystore" in 5.15.1 Procedure for registering or updating a CA certificate in the keystore.

If unsetup fails, eliminate the cause of the failure and then execute the npunsetup command again.
