4.6 Points to note before performing unsetup

Stop Navigation Platform before executing the npunsetup command (perform unsetup of Navigation Platform).
If you change system settings for or add files to a system that was set up using the npsetup command (perform setup of Navigation Platform), Navigation Platform might not work correctly.
Note that performing the unsetup procedure deletes all Operational Content data. In addition, when you perform setup again after the unsetup, the property files other than the user setup property file will be overwritten, and the property values in the files will be returned to their default values.
If you intend to perform unsetup, re-setup, and then resume using Navigation Platform, use the npdatabackup command (back up environment) to make a backup of the existing environment. For details about how to use the npdatabackup command, see 9.6 npdatabackup command (back up environment).
