5.3 Creating ID groups
Like host groups, you can create ID groups in the Destination window of Remote Installation Manager. Although ID groups are created on the managing server, the created ID groups are reported to and managed by a relay system responsible for managing the ID group (the relay managing the ID). This relay system also manages the registration status of users in the ID group.
This section provides an overview of the use of ID groups. It then describes in detail how to create ID groups and register managed computers in those groups.
