    ID group name

Set the name of the ID group. For details about the conventions for ID group names, see 5.2.2 Assigning group names.

    Password

Set the password a user must enter to register a managed computer in the ID group, using no more than 14 single-byte alphanumeric characters. You do not need to specify a password. If you enter a password, it is displayed as asterisks (*) in the window.

Specify the relay managing the ID

Set the relay managing the ID. You can specify multiple relay systems as the relays managing an ID group.

The System Configuration area lists the relay systems defined in the System Configuration window. To add a host as a relay managing the ID, select it in the System Configuration area and then click the > button. You can select multiple hosts in the System Configuration area.

You can set all relay systems as relays managing the ID by clicking the ALL> button.

  2. After entering the appropriate settings, click Add.

    The ID group is created.

When you attempt to add a relay managing the ID, the process might fail with the ID group remaining in Registering status. If this occurs, remove the cause of the problem and then try again.

You can forcibly delete a relay managing an ID that is in Registering status by clicking Delete ID Group.

  3. Click Exit.

The Create ID Group dialog box closes.

You can check the ID group you defined in the Destination window. To display the relay systems managing a particular ID group, click the Relay managing the ID tab in the right pane of the Destination window.
