5.3.5 Notes on using ID groups
Note the following when using ID groups:

(1) When system configuration information is removed for a computer registered in ID groups
If you delete a computer from the system configuration information that is registered in one or more ID groups, information about its ID group memberships is not automatically deleted. Before deleting the system configuration information associated with a managed computer, de-register the computer from its ID groups.
If you deleted a managed computer from the system configuration information without de-registering it from its ID groups, you can remove the ID group information from Remote Installation Manager. For details about how to remove a managed computer from an ID group, see 5.3.4 Editing ID groups.
You can also configure the system to automatically link system configuration information and ID group information. For details, see 5.4 Linking system configuration information with ID group information.
(2) If an Edit ID group folder was created
If the Edit ID group folder has been created in the Job Status window, do not delete the folder or its contents.
The Edit ID group folder contains jobs that perform tasks related to ID groups, such as registering managed computers in ID groups and adding relay systems that manage the ID groups. The system creates these jobs automatically, and deletes them automatically when the job has ended.
If you inadvertently delete one of these jobs, the ID group will not be edited as intended. In this case, you can create the job again by repeating the original operation.
