16.3.5 Detail Information - [object-type] dialog box

The Detail Information - [object-type] dialog box checks the status name of the object being monitored and the reason why the object entered Unknown status. You can display this dialog box only when the monitoring mode is selected.

The following figure shows the Detail Information - [object-type] dialog box when the AJS3 unit monitored object is selected.

The following explains the display item of the Detail Information - [AJS3 Unit Monitored Objects] dialog box.

Title bar

Depending on what object is selected the appearance of the title bar changes as follows:

• When the business scope is selected

  Detail Information - [Business Scope] appears as the title bar.

• When the AJS3 unit monitored object is selected

  Detail Information - [AJS3 Unit Monitored Objects] appears as the title bar.

Name

Displays the name of the selected object.

Object to monitor

Depends on what object is selected as follows:

• When the business scope is selected

  Remains blank.

• When the AJS3 unit monitored object is selected

  Displays the monitored object host name and AJS3 unit name that serve as the entity of the selected AJS3 unit monitored object.

Status

Displays the status name of the selected object.

For the statuses collected by objects, see 13.5.2 Statuses acquired by objects.

Information

When the status of the selected business scope is Unknown status, displays blank characters. When the status of the selected AJS3 unit monitored object is Unknown status, displays the cause.

Open Window button

You can start JP1/AJS3 - View to display the JP1/AJS3 - View window or Jobnet Monitor window.

You can use the Operations page in the Preferences dialog box to set which window to display. For details, see 16.3.10 Preferences dialog box.

If the selected object is a business scope, the Open Window button becomes inactive.

Supplementary note

In the following cases, the Detail Information dialog box automatically closes:

• JP1/AJS3 Console View is disconnected from JP1/AJS3 Console Manager.

• The monitoring mode changes to the definition mode.
