3.4 Adding preset properties to service templates
You can add preset properties to a service template.
Who can perform this task:
Users who have Administrators permission for the OS
To add preset properties to a service template:

Prepare a preset property definition file.
Name the preset property definition file in preset_preset-name.properties format. Specify 1 to 30 characters for preset-name.
The following are the characters you can specify for preset-name:

Half-width alphanumeric characters

Half-width hyphen (-)
-
Half-width underscore (_)
-
Half-width period (.)

Save the preset property definition file in the following folder.
- In a non-cluster system:
-
JP1/AO -installation-folder\extra_presets\vendor-ID-of-service-template\service-template-ID\service-template-version
- In a cluster system:
-
shared-folder-name\jp1ao\extra_presets\vendor-ID-of-service-template\service-template-ID\service-template-version
The preset properties are added to the service template.
You can view the added preset properties in the Service Definition dialog box of the service that was added from the applicable service template. In the Service Definition dialog box, select preset-name to apply the change, which sets the values for the properties all at once.
