3.4.2 Deleting an RD area

Delete an RD area using a command. To delete an RD area, you need to close the RD area. To delete an RD area:

(1) Invoke an embedded DB prompt

In the Start menu of Windows go to Cosminexus - Database Console, and invoke the embedded DB prompt.

(2) Close the RD area

Close the RD area by entering the following command in an embedded DB prompt. You cannot delete the RD area unless it is closed.

pdhold -r RD area name

(3) Deleting an RD area

Delete the RD area. An RD area is deleted by entering the following command in the embedded DB prompt:

pdmod -a Parameter file path

Describe the following contents in the parameter file:

remove rdarea "RD area name"
