Note the following points when using the English version of JP1/Remote Control together with the Japanese version.

• The English version of JP1/Remote Control Agent can connect to the Japanese version of JP1/Remote Control Manager.
  If you are using the English version of JP1/Remote Control Manager, make sure that you use the English version of JP1/Remote Control Agent to configure the system.
  
• If you go to the Properties dialog box's Optimize Transaction page, and then select the Use local font option, the characters can become garbled if the font used in the agent PC does not exist in the controller PC.
• If the type of the keyboard used in the controller PC is different from the one used in the agent PC, you may not be able to type correctly.
• If a file with a file name or path name that contains 2-byte characters is transferred by using the file transmission functionality, the file might not be transferred correctly.
