6.2 Estimating of the disk space and memory requirements

The subsections from 6.2.1 Disk space requirements for the relay system to 6.2.4 Disk space requirements for the managing server show the disk space requirement for the system to be used. The amount of memory required is shown in 6.2.5 Memory requirement.

In the formulas shown below, the symbols [Figure] [Figure] indicate that the result of the expression enclosed in the symbols are rounded up to the nearest integer.

JP1/Software Distribution Client does not use the superuser's area in the file system. It can use as much area as the df command displays.
