Job Management Partner 1/Software Distribution Administrator's Guide Volume 1
To count hosts, you must first select the target hosts you wish to count. You use the Host-selection window to select count targets.
If you make the selection so that a large number of hosts have to be counted, it will take a long time for the display to appear. Therefore, keeping the number of targets to approximately 100 is recommended.
To search for a host within the Host-selection window, press the character key that corresponds to the first letter of the host name. The focus position moves to the applicable host.

Only the hosts displayed on the System Configuration page can be selected as targets for counting. A client that was added to the system configuration after Inventory Viewer was started cannot be selected because it is not displayed in the system configuration. To select such a host, you must restart Inventory Viewer to refresh the display on the System Configuration page.
Note that a relay manager and a relay system cannot be counted unless the corresponding clients are selected. If the client that corresponds to a relay manager or relay system is not displayed in the system configuration, execute the Get system configuration information job on the relay manager to update the system configuration information, and then refresh the display on the System Configuration page.
