Use this page when a recorder file will be used during remote installation. This page is displayed only when the package type is Other companies' software.

Recorder file directory settings

Specify the recorder file's directory. You can select the directory by clicking the Browse button. There must not be any file created in this directory other than a recorder file.

A user-created recorder file must be created with Visual Test.

Wait for the completion of recorder file processing

Specify whether or not monitoring for a response from installation processing that uses the recorder file is to be performed.

If the client uses the keyboard or mouse during remote installation that uses a recorder file, the installation mode switches to manual at that point, resulting in incomplete installation. To avoid this, you can specify cancellation of installation if there is no response from the higher system within a specified amount of time.

Time-out

If you select the Wait for the completion of recorder file processing option, specify the maximum amount of time monitoring for a response from the recorder file is to be performed. The permitted value range is 1-21,600 seconds (360 minutes or 6 hours). The default is 5 minutes.
