Based on the inventory information of JP1/Software Distribution, information is registered or updated in each corresponding class of Asset Information Manager.
When JP1/Software Distribution 07-50 or later is linked to collect information from a device on which JP1/Software Distribution Client is not installed, the available information is limited. For details about the information that can be acquired from a machine on which JP1/Software Distribution is not installed, see 13.1.1(1) Asset information that can be acquired from a machine on which JP1/Software Distribution is not installed and 13.1.2(1) Hardware information that can be acquired from a machine on which JP1/Software Distribution is not installed.

- During inventory information assignment, this information is registered or updated if the setting to register the group and location information of the user inventory information was specified.
- Notes
- When system information and system configuration information are assigned, if the source value is null, Asset Information Manager's information is not updated.
- In Asset Information Manager version 07-10 or earlier, information was updated when Status was Active or Stock. However, in version 07-50 and later, information is updated according to the assigned items set by the Assign Inventory job menu when Status is Active, Stock, Pre-Scrap, or Erase.
- If JP1/Software Distribution Client 08-51 is installed at the managed client and inventory information containing Hitachi program product information is imported, two installed software information items may be acquired for a single Hitachi program product. In this case, if automatic software name registration has been set, duplicate software names may be registered. If a single Hitachi program product is counted as two separate software products during the license totaling process, check the results of license totaling, and use the Software Name job menu to unify the duplicate software names.
