13.1.3 Inventory information that can be acquired as network information

The following table shows the details of Asset Information Manager's network information that is registered or updated based on the inventory information of JP1/Software Distribution.

The inventory information and network information are assigned by the MAC address. If the IP address corresponding to the MAC address obtained from JP1/Software Distribution does not match the existing network information, the IP address is updated by the value obtained from JP1/Software Distribution.

If a value cannot be acquired from JP1/Software Distribution, a value is acquired from the IP group to which the IP address belongs. If a DHCP server name is set in the IP group to which the IP address belongs, the value acquired from the IP group takes precedence over the DHCP server name acquired from JP1/Software Distribution.
