11.10.2 Errors when JP1/IM is linked

This section describes the errors that may occur when JP1/IM is linked, and their principal causes and actions.

Organization of this subsection: (1) Events were registered in JP1/IM - Manager, but no error information was imported in Asset Information Manager; (2) Action was taken on the error information acquired from JP1/IM, but IM's information is not updated; (3) The Asset Information Manager window is not displayed from the JP1/IM - Manager Event Console window

(1) Events were registered in JP1/IM - Manager, but no error information was imported in Asset Information Manager

The automatic action settings on the JP1/IM - Manager side are invalid. Specify the correct settings. For details about the setup method, see 6.2.1 Setting automatic action by JP1/IM - Manager.

(2) Action was taken on the error information acquired from JP1/IM, but IM's information is not updated

The following are the possible causes:

A processing completion JP1 event was not issued.
Check the automated action settings for reporting the completion of error handling and make sure that 00005581 is set in Event ID.
If servers are separated, no event was transferred from JP1/Base to JP1/IM.
Specify the settings in such a manner that events will be transferred. For details about the setup method, see the manual Job Management Partner 1/Base User's Guide.
The automatic action settings in JP1/IM - Manager are invalid.
Specify the correct settings. For details about the setup method, see 6.2.1 Setting automatic action by JP1/IM - Manager.
JP1/Base is not installed on the asset management server, or the installation failed.
Make sure that JP1/Base has been installed correctly.

(3) The Asset Information Manager window is not displayed from the JP1/IM - Manager Event Console window

The installed JP1/Integrated Manager - Central Console version may be earlier than 07-50. To link with a JP1/Integrated Manager - Central Console version earlier than 07-50, you must copy the definition file for calling the Asset Information Manager window to JP1/Integrated Manager - Central Console.
