The figure below shows a specification example for notifying Asset Information Manager of only emergencies and warnings from the information displayed on the JP1/IM side.

The following describes the values to be specified in JP1/IM - Manager's Action Parameter Detailed Definitions dialog box:

  • Leave the Parameter group settings unchanged.
  • For Event ID, select All IDs.
  • Leave Message, Basic event information, and Detailed event information blank.
  • Select the Use extended information check box for Extended event information, and then click the Configure button.
    From the displayed Action Parameter Detailed Definitions (extended event information) dialog box, select the Emergency and Warning check boxes.

When you register a resolution to a problem in Asset Information Manager, you must set the JP1/IM - Manager jcochstat command for automatic notification to notify JP1/IM - Manager that the problem has been resolved.

The following shows the value specified in the JP1/IM - Manager Action Parameter Detailed Definitions dialog box.

  • Select Specify ID for Event ID, and specify 00005581.

  • Specify the host name to execute actions in Target host.

To reflect the JP1 event or SNMP trap resolution status changed by Asset Information Manager, select the Resolution status change approval check box for the jcochstat command on the Communication tab of the System Environment Settings dialog box.
