3.8 Settings for passing through a firewall

This section explains how to specify the settings for passing through a firewall when the database type for the scheduler service to be monitored is an embedded database or HiRDB.

For other settings required in a firewall environment, see Appendix C. List of Port Numbers.

Note

JP1/AJS3 - Manager 09-00 or later and JP1/AJS2 - Manager 08-00 or later cannot use HiRDB as a scheduler service database.

HiRDB as used in this section means the HiRDB used in JP1 Version 7i JP1/AJS2 - Manager.
