By default, jp1ajs2monitor is defined in the services file with port number 20244 assigned to it. This port number must match that of jp1ajs2monitor as defined in the monitoring target JP1/AJS3 - Manager or JP1/AJS2 - Manager host. If these port numbers differ, match the port number for JP1/AJS3 - Web Operation Assistant with the definition of the monitoring target JP1/AJS2 - Manager. The following table shows the port number used with JP1/Base when the JP1/Base authentication server used with JP1/AJS3 - Web Operation Assistant is installed on a host on which JP1/AJS3 - Web Operation Assistant is not installed. The table also shows the direction in which data can pass through a firewall.

When the monitoring target scheduler database is an embedded database or HiRDB and a firewall (packet filtering and NAT) exists between the monitoring target and JP1/AJS3 - Web Operation Assistant, you must set up the RDB connection definition file. For details on how to set up the RDB connection definition file, see 3.8.3 Settings on JP1/AJS3 - Web Operation Assistant.

The following table lists the port numbers you must specify in the RDB connection definition file, and the direction in which data can pass through the firewall.
